We are pleased to announce that your Local 30 Education Committee has received funding approval from the Provincial Training Trust Fund to offer the following courses beginning this month. Each course will proceed provided there is sufficient interest & registrations.
All deposits on the Local 30 courses will be returned upon successful completion or proof of 85% attendance.
PRE C OF Q
Preparation to write Sheet Metal Worker trade certification
**$150.00 Deposit required upon registration**
Ongoing as demand requires (will run once a week for 11 weeks).
MUST register with the union hall. (maximum of 20)
REFRIGERATION & AC
Training to challenge ODP certification
**$150.00 Deposit required upon registration**
Starting in the Fall of 2008 (will run once a week for 14 weeks).
MUST register with the union hall. (maximum of 8)
FIRST AID
**$150.00 Deposit required upon registration**

Health and Sftey Level 2 (Committees) New dates to be announced
Welding – Mig, Tig & Stick (Peterborough, Barrie & Mississauga)

Barrie and Peterborough – Register with the union office
Members are encouraged to register early, as spots will fill up quickly. Apprentices may not register if attendance interferes with night school.

is now offering apprentice day school. It is important for all apprentices to complete their day schooling in a timely manor. With OUR school opening there is a greater opportunity to get your schooling finished.
